A new works by Kimberly Hempel
My current body of work consists of landscape and still life paintings that record the way light and color create dramatic effects and contemplative moments. Sometimes we see a sunset and wish we could carry it back with us and make it last forever, and sometimes the way light hits something makes us see it in a different way.
